“Hi, I have used my Samsung Galaxy S5 for almost a year. I have all my contacts saved on it. I wonder how to backup contacts from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to PC. So I have a backup once I lost my contacts on my phone. Can I do that? Thanks in advance!”
One of our readers emailed us to ask this question. I think many Android users have this question. So I write this article to show you how to backup Android contacts to PC easily. As you know, contact is one of the most important data on mobile phone. If you lost your contacts without a backup, you can’t even think about the result. So making a backup for your Android contacts is the best way to keep safe for your Android contacts.
In this article, we will use Android Data Recovery software to backup Android contacts to computer. This software can not only backup the contacts on Android phone, but also recover deleted contacts on Android and then backup them to PC.
Step 1. Run Android Data Recovery
Launch the software after you successfully install it on your computer.
Step 2. Connect Android Phone
Plug your Android phone to your computer via USB cable. The software will recognize your phone. However, in order to scan your Android phone to find the contact data, you need to enable the USB debugging mode on your Android phone and all the Superuser authorization of the program.
Step 3. Enable USB Debugging Mode and Superuser Authorization
According to different Android OS version, you need to follow different steps to enable the USB debugging mode on your Android. On the interface of the Android data recovery, there are little guides for you.
If you have rooted your Android phone before, you need to allow the superuser authorization of the program. Again, a little guide on the interface will show you how to do that.
Step 4. Scan Android Phone to Find Contacts
Once you finish step 3, you can choose which type of data you want to scan and backup. If you only want to backup contacts, just select contacts to scan. You can also select other data to scan and backup.
Click “Next” button, you need to select the scanning mode. I recommend you to use the advanced mode to scan your Android phone. Although it will take longer time, it can scan all the contacts on your Android phone, including the deleted contacts on your Android phone.
Step 5. Backup Android Contacts to PC
The software will display all the contacts on your Android phone to you. You can select all the contacts to backup or choose the contacts you want to backup. Then click “Recover” button, all the contacts you selected will be saved on your computer.
In this way, you can backup Android contacts to PC easily. What’s important is you can even recover deleted contacts on Android phone and backup them to your computer. Android data recovery software can also recover other data from Android, such as text messages, photos, videos, call history and so on.
